Hey Folks! There is so much going on in the “Banner World” I don’t know where to begin. It’s all good though! Daniel and Kenneth Duncan have been writing some great songs! That is continually going on; nothing new there. You can check out new songs at Kenneth’s myspace: www.myspace.com/kennethduncan He usually posts newly written songs pretty regularly. He is also on Twitter and Facebook; look him up if you want to keep up with his writing & artist career. Banner Music played a Banner Music Songwriter night at The Commodore Lounge in Nashville in May. Daniel (Banner Boss), Kenneth Duncan and Jon Raven performed. www.myspace.com/jonraven They were a HIT! It was a great show. On July 14th, Banner Music showcased Daniel, Kenneth, Jon and our sweet and talented friend Morgan Myles www.myspace.com/morganmyles at the famous Bluebird Café. Our show sold out in 24 hours. It was a great crowd & great show. The Banner Music Kids came out too; Cortney, Kirsten & Caleb. I’ll try to post pictures on our myspace soon. www.myspace.com/bannermusicpublishing Our favorite studio engineer Nathan Smith (www.mainframerecordingstudio.com) and his new wife Caroline came to support our writers. Tim Fink from SESAC came to support Daniel, as Daniel is a SESAC writer. Nancy Peacock (Mocha Network Member) www.myspace.com/mochanetworksongpluggers and her intern were also present. I need to update photos here on the website as well. I’ll try to get that done soon. Daniel finally has a CD for sale! It’s a great COUNTRY CD. You won’t find much on the pop side of country here; it’s Daniel’s style through and through. If you like country music, you’ll love his CD. It’s titled, “Daniel Was Here”. Our family and friends have been waiting a long time for it, so we’re glad it’s done! I think he’ll have another one before you know it, but it will include “friends” recordings as well. So you’ll have a taste of what his songwriter/artist friends are doing. If you would like to purchase a copy of his current “Daniel Was Here” CD, just go to the front page of our website and you’ll see how. I attended Leadership Music’s Digital Summit and learned so much! This music industry is always on the move! It’s exciting and scary all at the same time. It’s hard to keep up with all the changes but I’m trying to! If you have the chance to go to Leadership Music’s Digital Summit, it is well worth the money! I belong to two Music Publisher Administrator groups on Music Row who each meet once a month. I love these groups! I learn so many things through the guest speakers and also simply the general discussions that go on all the time. I wonder if other “music hubs” have the cooperative network these two groups have?
